Chairperson of the 10th Gunpo City Council
for the first half of its term (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028):
I am LEE WOOCHUN.

I sincerely thank the citizens who show such great interest
in our legislative activities to better understand
and support the Gunpo City Council.

The 10th Gunpo City Council will be
a council that listens up close to citizens’ lives,
finds answers in the field,
and earns trust through results.

Dear 250,000 citizens of Gunpo.
We accept the trust and expectations you have placed in us
as a solemn responsibility.

From here on, the Gunpo City Council will place
responsible, livelihood-focused legislative work that looks closely after inconveniences in citizens’ daily lives, results-oriented legislative work that creates changes citizens can feel,
and field-centered, action-oriented legislative work that turns the voices of the field into policy
at the center of its legislative activities.

Through reasonable checks on the executive branch and constructive cooperation,
we will also prepare a better future for Gunpo
and build a council trusted by citizens.

We will never lose our founding spirit.
We will listen with ever greater humility.
We will repay citizens’ expectations with results.

We ask for the warm interest and affectionate encouragement
